Lend Me A Tenor

A farcical comedy that will have you rolling in the aisle!  Through a series of mishaps, the greatest tenor, Tito Morelli, "Il Stupendo," is given an overdose of stimulants and is unable to perform the famous opera, Otello.  Max, an aspiring singer, becomesa tenor on loan.  Tito revives, and now there are two Ortellos pursued by two  amorous ladies in lingerie.  "Guarenteed to leave the udience teary-eyed with laighter." - N.Y. Never The Sinner

Few trial transcripts are likely to be as emotionally engaging as that of the 1924 trial of Leopold and Loeb for the death of 14-year old Bobby Franks.  Decades after Clarence Darrow delivered his 12-hour long plea to save his young clients' lives, his moving summation stands as the most eloquent attack on the death penalty ever unveiled in this powerful and compellingplay.
